Gunsan City announced on the 22nd that it will hold the ‘2023 Saemangeum International Marathon’ in 4 years, in which 5,000 people, including domestic and foreign marathoners and Gunsan citizens, will participate. 스포츠토토
The event is divided into three events: 5km, 10km and full course (42.195km).
The participation fee is between 15,000 and 50,000 won depending on the course, and applications can be made through the Internet (www.smgmarathon.com) by March 26th.
The full course starts at Wolmyeong Sports Complex, goes through Sajeong 3-way Intersection, Nambuk-ro Intersection, Arts Center Intersection, etc., and returns to Wolmyeong Sports Complex after passing through the 1st return Yeonan Intersection and Gunsan City Hall in the direction of Gunjang University.
The 10km and 5km sections also start from Wolmyeong Sports Complex.
The city explained that it departed and arrived in front of the Wolmyeong Tennis Court for this tournament, operated an event booth inside the stadium to avoid congestion, and changed the 5km and 10km return course sections.
A city official said, “I hope that the participants will enjoy the cherry blossoms of Gunsan, take care of their health, and make good memories in the event, which will be held in four years.”
