Baseball’s Kium Lee Jung-hoo has become the youngest player in KBO history to reach 100 hits for the seventh consecutive season, breaking Doosan Bears’ Lee Seung-yeop’s record.
Lee hit an infield single off KT starter Wes Benjamin in the bottom of the eighth inning with the Bears trailing 4-2 against the KT Wiz at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Nov. 11.메이저놀이터
The hit pushed him into triple digits in hits, as he had 99 on the season before the game.
Since turning pro in 2017, Lee has gone over 100 hits in a season without missing a year. At 24 years, 10 months, and 21 days, Lee broke the previous record of 24 years, 11 months, and 24 days held by Lee Seung-yeop.
