The hit pushed him into triple digits in hits, as he had 99 on the season before the game.

Since turning pro in 2017, Lee has gone over 100 hits in a season without missing a year. At 24 years, 10 months, and 21 days, Lee broke the previous record of 24 years, 11 months, and 24 days held by Lee Seung-yeop.
