The NBA All-Star list has been released, and Philadelphia 76ers starting center Joel Embiid seems dissatisfied with the list.
On his 3rd (Korean time), Embiid tagged his official NBA Twitter account, saying, “You all will have to explain.”
He demanded an explanation because teammate James Harden was omitted from the NBA All-Star roster announced today.
Harden played an average of 36.7 minutes in 34 games this season, averaging 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 1.2 steals.
Although he performed well, he was not included in the All-Star roster announced on the day. Since the last 2012-13 season, he has been selected as an All-Star 10 times in a row, but that march has stopped.
Another dissatisfied with the All-Star roster. Denver Nuggets manager Michael Malone is a prime example. “It’s funny that the coaches didn’t pick him, given what he’s done this season,” he said, expressing his displeasure at not picking forward Aaron Gordon, who is averaging 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season.
Their dissatisfaction may soon disappear. This is because it is uncertain whether Kevin Durant (Brooklyn) and Zion Williamson (New Orleans), who were selected first, will play due to injury. In the case of an injured player, the Commissioner selects a replacement player.
Embiid, Jaylen Brown (Boston), Bam Adebayo (Miami), Zeru Holiday (Milwaukee), Dermar DeRozan (Chicago), Julius Randall (New York), and Tyrese Halliburton (Indiana) were selected for this All-Star in the Eastern Conference. Halliburton is his first start and the first Indiana guard to be an All-Star since Don Booth in 1967-77. 안전놀이터
In the Western Conference, Ja Morant (Memphis), Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento), Damian Lillard (Portland), Paul George (Clippers), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City), Lauri Makaenen (Utah), Jaylen Jackson Jr. (Memphis) was selected Gilzius-Alexander, Makkanen, and Jackson Jr. are the first starters. For the first time in Memphis history, two All-Stars were produced in one season.
The NBA shortlist was determined by the manager’s voting list. With the previously announced 8 selections, they will participate in the All-Stars, and will be divided into Team LeBron and Team Giannis through a draft held right before the game.
