All players who have been deemed underperforming this season have been left out. Tottenham Hotspur manager Enze Postecoglou’s predicted best 11 has been revealed.
Postecoglou has finally arrived at Tottenham. “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Postecoglou as our new first team manager following the conclusion of the season and all domestic cup competitions. He becomes the first Australian manager in the Premier League and will join the club on July 1 on a four-year contract.”
Announcing Postecoglou’s appointment, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said: “He brings a positive attitude and a fast, aggressive style of play to the team. He has a strong track record of developing players and understands the importance of linking with the academy, which is everything to our club. We are delighted to have him on board for the upcoming season.”
Tottenham finally have a new boss Tottenham have been without a manager since parting ways with Antonio Conte in March. Julian Nagelsmann pulled out of negotiations with Tottenham because he was unsure of the club’s direction. Arne Slott had a change of heart in his final talks with Feyenoord and decided to stay in the Netherlands.
He has since grown rapidly close to Postecoglou, who has helped Celtic win the ‘Domestic Treble’ this season and further flourish the Celtic dynasty. He has also utilized Oh Hyun-gyu, who joined the club in January, to great effect in the Scottish game.
He’s no stranger to winning. He led the Brisbane Roar to a glorious run in Australia and helped them to their only Asian Cup title. He also led Yokohama F. Marinos to the top in 2019. Despite his lack of experience in the big leagues and the fact that Celtic is an absolute powerhouse in Scotland, it”s hard to dismiss Postecoglou”s achievements.
Reputable media outlets and journalists, such as the BBC and Fabrizio Romano, had been calling for Postecoglou to join Spurs. Even before Tottenham’s official announcement, journalist Onstein of The Athletic broke the news of Postecoglou’s impending appointment.
Postecoglou will be tasked with rebuilding Spurs. Spurs were humiliated this season when they failed to qualify for Europe due to limitations across their roster. If Spurs are to remain a big club in the Premier League, they need to make the right signings and get rid of players who are not up to the task.
The local speculation is that Postecoglou’s best 11 will be fairly unchanged. On June 6, the Mirror revealed the 11 players that Postecoglou would select. All of the players who have been cited as the culprits of the club’s struggles this season, such as the likes of Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, and Hugo Lloris, have been left out.
There were three newcomers. Relegated Leicester City ace James Maddison, Hwang’s teammate Maximilian Kilman, and Brentford defender David Lallana. All three have been playing in the Premier League for a long time, so they should have no problem adjusting to Tottenham.
Of course, there’s also Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. They’re key for any manager looking to revitalize Spurs’ attack. However, Kane is currently attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid, so it’s questionable whether he’ll be at Tottenham next season.안전놀이터
