KCC’s signing of Choi Jun-yong gives the team an all-time great lineup. KCC will be a different team next season with and without Song Kyo-chang.
KCC’s signing of Choi Jun-yong in the free agency (FA) market instantly made them the favorite to win the title. Heung, Lee Seung-hyun, and Ragan-ah were added to the roster, and Song Kyo-chang was discharged during the season. Heo Woong, Choi Jun-yong, Song Gyo-chang, Lee Seung-hyun, and Ragan-ah are a national team lineup.
With the anticipation of the new season growing, KCC needs to maximize the strength they have until Song Kyo-chang returns. KCC’s No. 1 (point guard) weakness is obvious. Heo Woong had to take care of his reads. However, with the acquisition of free agent Lee Ho-hyun, he could be the starter. The team could go with Lee Ho-hyun, Heo, Song Kyo-chang, Lee Seung-hyun, and Ragan-ah.
If Lee Ho-hyun doesn’t live up to expectations, Choi Jun-yong can be used as the No. 1. Choi Jun-yong has experience leading the national team. Choi could be deployed up front with Heo Woong, while Jung Chang-young could play the role of swingman.안전놀이터
KCC’s lineup will be different after Song Kyo-chang was discharged from the military. Lee Seung-hyun and Ragan-ah can play under the basket, while Heo Woong, Choi Jun-yong, and Song Gyo-chang can rotate. All three players have excellent ball-handling skills and can shoot, making them a threat to opponents. Lee Ho-hyun, Jung Chang-young, and Lee Geun-hwi can be utilized as backups.
The addition of Choi Jun-yong will certainly increase KCC’s depth. It will take time for Choi to settle in before Song Kyo-chang joins, and once he does, KCC will only get stronger.
