Tommy Hyun-Soo Edmon had a 100 percent fielding performance.

With the bases loaded and one out in the third inning, Edmon lined a single up the middle after a six-pitch battle with Washington starter Josiah Gray.

He later scored on Paul Goldschmidt’s single to left-center field.

In the fifth, he worked a long, seven-pitch at-bat with the bases loaded before lining a single to right-center.

He came home again on Brandon Donovan’s three-run homer to right.

Edmon’s hitting streak continued.

In the seventh inning, he drew a walk with a full count. He advanced to second on a Rasputin walk and scored on a Nolan Arenado single.

In the eighth inning, he drew a walk again. This time, however, he was unable to follow through and score.

Edmon’s two-hit performance, which followed a multi-hit game the day before, pushed his season batting average to .240 from .233.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, St. Louis defeated Washington 8-6. The Cardinals have won three straight. They are now 30-43 on the season.
