Right-handed pitcher Drew Ruchinski, who returned to the big leagues after a stint with the NC Dinos, has been released after one year.굿모닝토토 주소

“The Oakland Athletics have decided not to exercise the 2024 option on Luchinski,” MLB TradeRumors reported on Wednesday.

Luchinski signed a one-year, $8 million deal with Oakland last December after going 53-36 with a 3.06 ERA in 121 appearances for NC from 2019 to 2022.

He was guaranteed $3 million in 2023 and $5 million in 2024 if Oakland chose to re-sign him.

Luchinski was highly touted, but after four starts this season, he was a disaster, going 0-4 with a 9.00 ERA. In mid-May, he was placed on the disabled list with a degenerative back condition and was no longer able to throw a ball.

Ruchinski went under the knife in July and was lost for the season, and Oakland opted to terminate his contract.
