The 2nd Inje Tournament of the ‘KBA 3×3 KOREA TOUR 2023’ hosted by the Korea Basketball Association opened on the 13th at the Inje Riding Center in Inje-gun, Gangwon-do. Accordingly, on the first day of the tournament, the group stages of the middle school, high school, men’s open, and Korea League men’s divisions were held. Group A’s results definitely caught the eye. Hanul Construction, which won the championship with Bang Seong-yoon at the forefront of the first competition, failed to advance to the finals.
Hanul Construction, Motion Sports, and Descente Bumpers in Group A each recorded a tie with 1 win and 1 loss. In case of a tie, the rankings are covered in the order of 1) points scored and 2) FIBA ranking. Hanul Construction scored only 25 points in the two games, finishing the tournament early as it was pushed to third place in the group following Motion Sports (33 points) and Descente Bumpers (29 points).
On the other hand, another winning candidate, Inje Sky, settled in the finals. Inje lost 19-20 after a close match to Master Wook in the first round of the preliminary round, but finished second in Group B by defeating Chosun University A (21-9) in the second round.안전놀이터
The Korea League men’s finals were decided by lottery after the preliminary rounds were finished. While Black Label Sports and Master Wook went directly to the semifinals, the matchup for the semifinals was decided by Heavenly Inje – Descente Bumpers and Motion Sports – JBY SPORTS.
In the men’s open division, the final match was organized according to the group stage results without a draw. Master Wook-Baek Hyang-mok, Lin-Fun Sunflower-Elegant Sports, Hanul Construction-Yubin TV, Apass-Ait Iksan will face each other in the quarterfinals. In the middle school division, the quarterfinals were also made according to the group stage results, and in the high school division, NSBC and Wonju YKK advanced directly to the semifinals through the draw.
Meanwhile, the elementary school group stage and semi-final tournament will all be held on the 14th.
