Going to the Champions will change who we sign…we want a top EPL MF too

Declan Rice is reportedly favoring a move to Arsenal.

Arsenal have been confirmed as the English Premier League (EPL) runners-up this season. They started the season on a high note, topping the league and holding onto the top spot for a long time, but faltered towards the end, losing ground to title contenders Manchester City and ultimately failing to win the title.

That’s not to say that Arsenal’s season was a failure. By finishing second, Arsenal will qualify for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) next season for the first time in seven seasons since the 2016-17 season. Considering that the Gunners hadn’t even qualified for the UCL in the past few years, it’s safe to say that this season was a success.

Now that they’ve qualified for the UCL, they have a wider range of players to choose from. This is because there are many players who dream of playing in the UCL. Arsenal have considered Rice a top summer transfer target since mid-to-late in the season, and it’s been reported that Rice would prefer a move to Arsenal. Rice has consistently expressed his desire to play in the UCL.

According to John Cross of the UK’s Mirror, who is well versed in Arsenal news, “Rice would prefer a move to Arsenal this summer. West Ham United are expected to sell Rice to Arsenal if the transfer fee is right. Other EPL clubs, including Manchester United, are also in the hunt for Rice, but the Gunners have done a tremendous amount of work so far to ensure a deal can be done this summer. For now, Rice is focused on helping West Ham win the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL), but if he were to move, he is believed to be favoring a move to Arsenal,” said a source close to Rice.안전놀이터

The Gunners plan to sign Rice to replace Granit Xhaka. Xhaka is set to end his seven-year association with the Gunners at the end of the season. The Gunners are looking to replace Xhaka with a younger, more talented midfielder to carry the momentum from this season’s league title run into next season. In addition to Rice, Arsenal are also reportedly targeting Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
