Stout’s record on the day was four hits, one walk, and three runs in one ⅔ inning.

Stout slipped in the bottom of the second inning while throwing a slider for the seventh pitch in a ball count of 3 balls-2 strikes against Jung Soo-bin with two outs and a runner on second base.

Jung Soo-bin walked out, and Stout complained of pain on the mound.

A trainer ran to check the stout’s physical condition, and KIA manager Lee Bum-ho replaced the pitcher. KIA left-handed bullpen Kim Ki-hoon rushed to the mound.

An KIA official said, “Stout felt pain in his left thigh and replaced it to protect the player,” adding, “We will decide tomorrow whether to have a hospital examination.”
