Cuevas “I want to play the shortstop” – Rojas “I’m aiming for MVP”…KT’s four-person, four-color All-Star Game is on the way

The All-Star Game, a festival of stars, is just around the corner. All-Star Friday will be held at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on Saturday, and the All-Star Game will be held in earnest on Sunday. Four players will play at KT Wiz. Reliever Kim Min and starting pitcher William Cuevas, catcher Jang Sung-woo and outfielder Mel Rojas Jr. have been named as “Dream All-Star” players. All three except Rojas are new to the All-Star Game. The players shared their impressions in various ways.룸알바

Jang Sung-woo, a veteran catcher, said, “It is an honor to be invited to the All-Star Game, where the league’s top players gather. I personally thought he was an unsuitable player for the All-Star Game, but I am truly grateful to coach Lee Kang-chul (KT and Dream All-Star) for inviting me and granting me qualifications. As it is my first time going there, I want to enjoy the festive atmosphere with other players.”

“I went to the Futures All-Star Game, but this time it’s not a Futures Game, so I feel good and dazed,” said Kim Min, who has become a key player in the KT must-win group. “I’m looking forward to having fun while playing only games that I have to win every time,” Kim said. “As I play on behalf of the team, I want to show fans why I was chosen. I’m grateful to the coach for selecting me.”

Cuevas, who has been with KT since 2019, felt special. “Finally, I’m really happy and happy to be able to go to the All-Star Game for the first time in six years. I’m so excited,” he said with a smile. “I’m grateful to the coach. I worked hard in the first half of the year, but the coach gave me a chance to go to the All-Star Game.”

“Personally, as a master of festivals, I want to play at bat and play shortstop as well. I don’t know what I will prepare with other players, but I will talk to foreign players,” Cuevas said.

Rojas, who returned to KT this year after playing at KT from 2017 to 2020, said, “It is an honor to be the representative of KT. I am grateful to the coach for selecting me,” adding, “All-stars are places where players with both popularity and skills attend. I will also try to show my best performance.” He said, “I will have a great time with my fans, and if I have a chance, I will try to become the MVP of the All-Star Game.”

Rojas is also scheduled to play in the Com2us professional baseball home run derby, which will be held after the Futures All-Star Game on the 5th.
